Information note for customers and suppliers under article 13 of Leg. Decree no. 196/03
Dear Customer / Supplier
Compac srl informs you that, with reference to the business relations established between us and for the execution of
the contractual relationship underway, we are in possession of personal data concerning you qualified as such by the
“Code for the protection of personal data” (Leg. Decree 196/2003). Therefore, according to the provisions set forth in
article 13 of Leg. Decree no. 196/2003, we provide you with the following statement of information.
The personal data collected and processed in this instance, refer essentially to company information (company name, registered office, telephone, fax, email, etc.), tax information (bank and financial details, fiscal and accounting data, etc.) and commercial information (orders, solvency, etc.). Compac s.r.l. does not possess any sensitive or judicial data concerning you pursuant to article 4, paragraph 1 of Leg. Decree no. 196/2003.
Your personal data will be processed in connection with the contractual requirements and the consequent fulfilment of the relevant legal and fiscal obligations, as well as to allow for an effective management of the business and financial relations and/or to meet your specific requests. Your personal data may be used in marketing campaigns organised by Compac srl subject to your prior express consent. Your personal data will be processed throughout the term of the agreement but also afterwards in order to meet the relevant obligations by law and for administrative and commercial purposes.
Data will be processed through tangible media as well as computerised and telematic systems in compliance with the applicable legislation aimed at guaranteeing the safety and confidentiality of data as well as their accuracy, update and relevance compared to the expected purposes.
Data will be entered in the relevant databases which will be accessible only by specific subjects expressly designated by Compac as persons in charge of the data processing. Such subjects will also be authorised to carry out data consultation, processing, comparison, usage and any other necessary operations, even if automated.
As regards the data we are obliged to know for the purposes of complying with the obligations contemplated by applicable laws, regulations and EU norms, or by provisions instructed by competent authorities or supervising bodies, failure to provide such data will result in the impossibility to establish or continue the business relationship, insofar as such data is necessary for the execution of said relationship. On the other hand, the submission of personal data and its consequent processing is to be considered as optional for all the other circumstances.
We will disclose your personal data to the following categories of subjects:
- · Individuals within our company in charge of the processing of personal data;
- · Subjects acting as our consultants, within the limits necessary for the fulfilment of their function in ourcompany;
- · Transport companies and shipping agents, for all the aspects relating to the shipment of goods and theclearance of customs papers;
- · Bank institutions for the management of takings and payments;
- · Financial administrations and other companies or public bodies for the purposes of fulfilling the relevant legal obligations;
- · Legal practices for the protection of the relevant contractual rights;
- · Agents and representatives working on behalf of Compac s.r.l.
As a general rule, your personal data will not be circulated.
However, Compac, s.r.l. may use your data in the ambit of commercial and marketing campaigns, but only subject to your prior express consent.
With reference to the above-mentioned data processing, the rights referred to in article 7 of Leg. Decree no. 196/2003 may be exercised, by contacting the data controller who, for the purposes of this law, is domiciled at the corporate registered office located at via Spallanzani 8/A, Castelnovo di Sotto (Reggio Emilia).

Emilia).
This notice does not preclude that further information may be given to the concerned parties at the time the data is
collected.
In pursuance of article 24 of Leg. Decree no. 196/03, the consent to the treatment of the aforesaid personal data is necessary as such data is collected in order to comply with the obligations deriving from the agreements you have entered into or to meet the relevant legal requirements.
